Moving toward Digital Transformation by Force: Students’ Preferences, Happiness, and Mental Health

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated and, somehow, forced the process of digital transformation within higher education sector. Due to pandemic, online modes course delivery have become only available way teaching in almost all parts world. We conducted a study Mexico know about students’ preferences for these class schedules, exams and assignments, styles during this health crisis. Furthermore, research sought impact digitalization on mental happiness. To conduct conjoint analysis, we collected survey-based data from 219 undergraduate Mexican students. most preferred attributes students classes were “having short (50 min)”, “possibility 70% pre-exam assignments 30% final exam”, humorous professor classes”. In terms health, prevalence “moderate” anxiety depression was 21.8%, “severe” 14.9%. happiness, male with shorter per day felt level
